Hoy es otro gran día para “Birdman”, la más reciente película de Alejandro González Iñárritu, que ha tenido una gran acogida entre el público y, poco a poco, entre los organizadores y jurados de distintos premios cinematográficos. Este miércoles, el Sindicato de Actores de EU (SAG por sus siglas en inglés) informó que la película protagonozada por Michal Keaton tiene cuatro nominaciones.
“Birdman” aspira a hacerse con los premios al Mejor Actor (Michael Keaton), Mejor Actor de Reparto (Edward Norton), Mejor Actriz de Reparto (Emma Stone) y Mejor Reparto en la 21 edición de esta entrega de premios, que se llevará a cabo el 25 de enero de 2015.
La película de Gozález Iñárritu recibió más nominaciones que otras películas como “Boyhood”, “The Imitation Game” y “The Theory Of Everything”, con tres candidaturas cada una.
Entre los nominados al premio de Mejor Actor se encuentran Micajel Keaton, protagonista de “Birdman” ,Steve Carell (Foxcatcher), Benedict Cumberbatch ("The Imitation Game"), Jake Gyllenhaal (“Nightcrawler”) y Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory Of Everything”). El galardón a la Mejor Actriz se decidirá entre Jennifer Aniston (“Cake”), Felicity Jones (“The Theory Of Everything”), Julianne Moore (“Still Alice”), Rosamund Pike (“Gone Girl”) y Reese Witherspoon (Wild).
Los premios del Sincaton de Actores de EU también contemplan a la televisión y, este año, la serie que protagoniza Sofía Vergara, “Modern Family” tendrá como firmes rivales a “Boardwalk Empire”, “Game Of Thrones”, Homeland” y
“House Of Cards”, con tres nominaciones cada una.
No obstante, la guapa colombiana no está nominada como mejor actriz tras haberlo conseguido en las últimas tres ediciones, pero sí opta al premio general de mejor reparto en una serie de comedia.
La semana pasada, “Birdman” obtuvo en Nueva York dos de los principales premios de los cineastas independientes, los “Gotham Independent Film Awards”, que se entregaron en La Gran Manzana, el premio “Best Feature” (el principal de la noche), mientras que Michael Keaton, el protagonista de la cinta, se alzó con el premio para el “Mejor Actor”.
